FemiWand · HIFU vaginal tightening
A personal conversation. A considered approach.
Explore non-surgical vaginal tightening, with care that starts by listening to you.
01 / Understanding FemiWand

Intimate changes can feel difficult to talk about. FemiWand is an ultrasound-based vaginal tightening treatment offered by VIVO Body Studio.
Start with a confidential conversation about your concerns, the options and whether treatment is appropriate for you. There is no pressure to have treatment, and no single way your body should look or feel.
Talk to the VIVO teamDescribe the changes you have noticed and what matters to you. You do not need to know which package to choose.
Discuss the proposed treatment, realistic expectations, possible risks and alternatives before deciding.
Ask questions in private. You should feel informed and comfortable with your decision at every stage.
The technology explained
HIFU uses sound energy to target selected tissue layers. The aim is to encourage a tissue response without surgical incisions.
The device, settings and your suitability matter. Your practitioner should explain the evidence for the treatment being offered, along with its limitations.
Understand results & risksDiscuss your symptoms, medical history and expectations. Establish whether cosmetic treatment is an appropriate next step.
A practitioner explains how the internal applicator is used, the proposed protocol and what you may feel.
Agree an aftercare and follow-up plan. Outcomes vary, and a particular improvement or duration cannot be promised.
02 / Your appointment
You deserve clear information and time to decide. Here is what to discuss with your clinic before, during and after an appointment.
Before
Talk through your concerns and medical history. Ask about suitability, alternatives and the total cost of any proposed plan.
During
Confirm what will happen before you consent. Ask about privacy, comfort and chaperone arrangements. You can ask to pause or stop.
After
Leave with clear aftercare instructions, realistic expectations and a contact for questions or concerns following treatment.
If you have pain, unexplained bleeding, a feeling of prolapse or bladder symptoms, speak to a GP or pelvic-health professional before considering cosmetic treatment. Read NHS guidance ↗

04 / Your questions
Clear answers to help you prepare for a conversation with your practitioner.
Speak to the teamFemiWand is the name used for a HIFU vaginal tightening treatment offered by VIVO Body Studio. HIFU stands for high-intensity focused ultrasound. An internal applicator delivers ultrasound energy to selected tissue layers, with the aim of stimulating a tissue response. Your practitioner should explain the device, intended use and supporting evidence.
VIVO describes the treatment as taking approximately 20–30 minutes. Allow additional time for your consultation, consent and aftercare discussion, and confirm the total appointment length with your chosen clinic.
No. Your health, symptoms, medical history and expectations need to be assessed first. Tell the practitioner about pregnancy, recent childbirth, infections, previous procedures and any pelvic-health concerns. Unexplained bleeding, pain or urinary symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional before considering a cosmetic treatment.
Individual response varies. There is limited high-quality evidence for the safety and effectiveness of energy-based vaginal rejuvenation, and improvement cannot be guaranteed. Ask what evidence supports this particular device and protocol, how success will be assessed and what alternatives may be appropriate.
Patient guidance from ACOG ↗Non-surgical does not mean risk-free. Energy-based vaginal procedures can cause burns, scarring, pain during sex and persistent pain. Discuss the risks of the exact device and protocol, what recovery may involve and who to contact if you develop symptoms.
Patient guidance from ACOG ↗Your practitioner should give you written instructions tailored to your treatment, including when to resume sex, use tampons or return to exercise. Ask about expected sensitivity, symptoms that need medical attention and how follow-up will be arranged. Do not assume that every activity can be resumed immediately.
These symptoms need an appropriate medical assessment. Cosmetic vaginal tightening should not replace care for a diagnosed condition. A GP, gynaecologist or pelvic-health physiotherapist can discuss established options; for example, vaginal dryness may be managed with moisturisers or prescribed treatment.
NHS guidance on vaginal dryness ↗Compare the two listed packages below and select your preferred clinic to continue to VIVO’s booking provider. If you are unsure which treatment to choose, speak to the team first. Suitability, current prices, deposits and cancellation terms should be confirmed before you book.
